According to the Statutes of the Association:
The Board of Directors shall consist of five (5) to fifteen (15) representatives from Full Members, being understood that each Full Member shall present no more than one (1) of its representatives for election as a member of the Board of Directors.
a) The Board of Directors’ members are elected at a General Meeting for one year, re-election is possible.
b) Each Director shall be an employee or representative of a Full Member company.

Tony has worked in the metering industry for over 17 years with a focus on the UK market and more latterly a global responsibility for some standardisation topics within Itron. Tony has worked within the UK smart metering program since its inception, holding several participatory and leadership positions within the industry, including Chair of BEAMA Smart Metering Group Technical Committee, and representing BEAMA in various standardisation committees, industry and government working groups. Tony has served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the DLMS UA since November 2016 and prior to this appointment served as a Director Alternate of the ZigBee Alliance.

Mr. Peter Jensen joined the EDF Group in 2007 where he currently holds positions in EDF’s Research & Development division as a Senior Researcher and Project Manager. He has a senior advisory role in smart metering and smart grid projects for the EDF Group. Before joining EDF, Mr. Jensen has held positions as project manager and advanced development manager for more than 15 years in the test & measurement business. Mr. Jensen has been involved in standardisation work within IEC TC13 and DLMS UA for over 10 years and received the IEC « 1906 award » in 2016.

Mr. Larumbe has been working since 2000 with smart metering matters. First involved in primary substation and C&I customers and then covering the massive smart metering deployment in Spain with almost 19 million meters with PLC PRIME and DLMS solutions for residential market. Nowadays he is leading the Global Smart Metering department within Iberdrola Group following a clear roadmap, interoperable and interchangeable solutions through the use of open standards. Iberdrola Group is based on different areas, the UK, Spain, the US and Brazil.

Ortwin helds a university degree in electrotechnics engineering and is employed currently in the role as Senior Specialist Standardisation at Honeywell Process Solutions in Elster GmbH (Germany).
Based on long-term responsibility for electronic systems including product design of electronic measuring devices for gas volume / energy conversion, data loggers and data communication his focus today is international standardisation.
This covers management and expert roles to contribute to standards development in the fields of Electronic Gas Metering and Data Communication (e.g. CEN/TC 294 Chair, DLMS UA CEN Task Forces Leader, CEN/TC 237 volume conversion).
In addition he acts as President of FARECOGAZ Technical Committee Gas Metering in associated domains, not limited to metrology and certification.
Represents NETWORKED ENERGY SERVICES CORPORATION (NES).
Larry has been working in the utility industry for more than 25 years with utilities, AMI and smart grid vendors and consultants in many diﬀerent countries throughout the world. He has worked in a number of positions associated with distribution networks, transmission systems and generation facilities. Most recently, Larry has been focused on smart grid and smart metering related projects. Larry has received several patents associated with advanced metering and communication systems, and he has participated in various standardization committees and industry working groups, including IEC, ETSI, DLMS UA, NEMA and IEEE, associated with the development of public and industry standards. Larry has also been on the Board of Directors for ESMIG and SMMAA.

She holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and worked for the Hungarian Telecommunications company.
She works for the DLMS UA since 2010. She is responsible for investigating test reports and issuing Certifications.
She also helps with editing the DLMS/COSEM specification, organizing the presence of the DLMS UA at trade shows organizing meetings of the Association.
Since 2016, she is also the Secretary of the Board of Directors.
