To begin the accreditation process, applicants click on the “Login” link at the top of this page.

If the required membership level and status is confirmed, the applicant receives an email with a link to being the online process.

Once this information is reviewed by DLMS UA, eligible applicants receive a email to continue the application process.

Eligible applicants will be invited to complete an online questionnaire designed to assess their knowledge of DLMS/COSEM and generic companion profiles. This questionnaire will cover six key areas including

If the applicant’s knowledge is judged sufficient based on the online questionnaire, they will be invited to an interview (either virtual or face-to-face) with DLMS UA staff and competent assessors to present their experience.

Following the interview, the panel will submit their recommendations to the DLMS UA Qualificiation Board, which will then consider the application and approve or reject the accreditation.

If the application is approved, DLMS UA will  inform the applicant of their successful accreditation and outline the ongoing requirements for Continual Professional Development (CPD) needed to maintain their accreditation.

Additionally, the applicant must sign the Accredited Expert Code of Conduct.

Once the Code of Conduct is signed, DLMS UA will publish the name of the Accredited Expert on the public website and provide a link to a portal where Accredited Experts can promote their training activities.
