DLMS® User Association Announces the Appointment of Three New Board Members

DLMS User Association (UA) is excited to welcome Ales Potocnik, Raymond Kelley and Sergio Diana to its Board of Directors. Ales, Raymond and Sergio bring a wealth of experience and expertise in the energy industry and will be valuable assets to the association. Their diverse perspectives will be instrumental in helping the association achieve its strategic goals.

Milan Kozole is retiring from the Board of Directors, effective immediately. Milan has been a valued member of DLMS User Association since its foundation and thanks to his deep technical expertise of the DLMS/COSEM standard, he has made significant contributions to the success of the association. While retiring from the Board of Directors, Milan will continue to represent Iskraemeco in the DLMS UA Working Groups.

To fill the vacancy left by Milan’s departure, Ales Potocnik has been appointed as a new board director. Ales is an experienced technology leader with over 25 years of experience in the Telco and Energy industries. Currently serving as the Director of Technology at Iskrameco, Ales brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the DLMS UA Board.

Peter Dependahl is also stepping down from his position on the DLMS Board of Directors and will be succeeded by Raymond Kelley, a seasoned R&D leader and current Smart Energy Architectural Lead at Honeywell. Raymond has extensive experience managing R&D teams across various fields including DMS, OMS, SCADA, electricity, and telecommunications, and will bring valuable knowledge to DLMS UA.

Sergio Diana has also been appointed as a Board Director, representing Gridspertise, the newest DLMS Promoter Member. Sergio has extensive experience in developing and maintaining firmware for electronic devices. His strong technical background and proven track record of successfully delivering complex solutions and seeking out new technologies and approaches will be a tremendous asset to the DLMS UA Board of Directors.
