Today the DLMS User Association (UA), a leading voice internationally in interoperable and secure data exchange development and certification, and Electrosuisse, the leading Swiss Association for Electrical Engineering, Power and Information Technologies, announced the signature of a liaison agreement aimed at advancing industry standards and driving positive change.
This partnership represents a significant step forward in driving innovation and improving practices within the energy industry in Switzerland. One of the key areas of focus will be the standardization of the last-mile digitalization of the electricity grid. The aim is to increase grid operation efficiency, better energy use and deeper energy consumer involvement, respecting data privacy and with the highest degree of data security, which will have a positive impact on digital convenience for Energy-as-a-Service.
Through this collaboration, both organizations will share resources, expertise, and best practices, with the goal of developing standards and guidelines for the sector, driving innovation, and advancing the interests of respective members and stakeholders.
