DLMS UA and SWAN Forum Sign Liaison Agreement to Support Secure Smart Water Deployment

The DLMS User Association (DLMS UA) and the Smart Water Networks Forum (SWAN) are pleased to announce the signing of a liaison agreement aimed at advancing digital transformation in the global water sector through enhanced standardization and secure data exchange.

SWAN is a global industry forum dedicated to empowering the water sector to unlock the value of digital technologies across water, wastewater, and stormwater networks. Through cross-industry collaboration, SWAN drives innovation, shares member expertise, and helps shape industry standards to make water systems smarter, more efficient, and sustainable.

The liaison agreement establishes a framework for collaboration that will leverage both organizations’ unique strengths and networks. Together, SWAN and DLMS UA aim to accelerate the deployment of smart water technologies, with a particular focus on harmonizing standards and promoting secure, interoperable data exchange across the sector.
