Gyozo Kmethy (18/03/2010 05:07):
Dear Kalai,

In the TCP-UDP/IPv4 profile we do not use HDLC at all.

Once the TCP connection is established, you can open an association using the AARQ / AARE exchange.

All xDLMS APDUs have to be put into the wrapper frame, prepended with the wrapper header: the version, source and destination addresses and the the length of the APDU. See GB 7.3.3.

Concerning the TCP and IPv4 frames, there is nothing specific to IEC 62056 DLMS/COSEM.
