Defining Association[]
 | Gyozo Kmethy (16/03/2010 09:13): Dear Kalai, The purpose of the Associations is to provide different views to the information available in the meter, i.e. different pbject lists and access rights to attributes and methods of the objects in a logical device to different clients. A client may be the meter reader, the utility engineer, the manufacturer, the end customer etc. Each Association object may point to its Security setup object. As the Association object is on the application layer level, it has nothing to do with the communicaiton profile. It may be posible to reach the same Association using different profiles, for example a meter reading can be performed remotely or locally. I hope this helps, best regards Gyozo |
