WG 14 - Data exchange for meter reading, tariff and load control
Task: To establish Standards, by reference to ISO/OSI Standards, necessary for data exchanges by different communication media, for automatic meter reading, tariff and load control, and consumer information.
The media can be either distribution line carrier (DLC), telephone (including ISDN), radio or other electrical or optical system and they may be used for local or remote data exchange.
