The role of the Working Group Maintenance is to maintain the COSEM/DLMS specification by initiating Amendments and by investigating, accepting or rejecting proposals from the users of the specification.

It is also the role of this Working Group to maintain the COSEM Conformance test tool.

Test plans are amended as necessary based on practical experience with conformance testing and based on the approved Amendments of the specification. The necessary developments are initiated and the new test are validated by this WG.

It is also the responsibility of the WG to facilitate the use of the specification by providing answers to the questions raised by the users.

The membership includes members of the DLMS UA who are willing to participate in this work.
