What elements of the specification need to be registered?
There are a number of elements in the specification, which need to be registered.
These are the following:
- Direct local data exchange (IEC 62056-21) - Manufacturer's identification
- Direct local data exchange (IEC 62056-21) - Enhanced identification character
- Physical layer (Green book / IEC 62056-42) - Identifiers for protocol identification service
- Data link layer (Green book / IEC 62056-46 - LLC parameters
- Application layer (Green book / IEC 62056-53) - COSEM Application context name
- Application layer (Green book / IEC 62056-53 - COSEM Authentication mechanism name
- OBIS codes (Blue book / IEC 62056-61) - Standard OBIS codes
- Interface classes (Blue book / IEC 62056-62) - COSEM Logical device name
- Interface classes (Blue book / IEC 62056-62) - Standard interface classes and versions
